Post 3 – Oops, its been a long time!

Its been a long time since I last posted here, sorry for that! Computer issues and lack of imagination has kept me away from building. Now, I’ve got some fresh intel for you.

Its now almost mid-April and the website’s still aren’t ready for opening. But its close now. The progress has been great on the review website but not on the Projects site. So I’ll open the Review site first and the Projects site at a later date.

You won’t see it open before April 26th as I will travel to Italy on Thursday next week. But I’ll try to open it before May!

So, let’s begin. Membership. While making my website I came up with the idea of a free site membership. What this means is that you register on the website and get this set of benefits:

– Two game giveaways every single month. Includes Sid Meier’s Railroads!, Euro Truck Simulator and Trainz Simulator 2012!

– One or two weeks early access to all reviews

– Early access to most some downloads. Note: All downloads will be available to everyone within two weeks after first release

+ More to come!

Sounds good, right? There’s even more to come for members in the future!

New Cities in Motion 2 map. ALPHA version

Another announcement!I will be releasing a completely new map for Cities in Motion 2 a few days after opening of the projects site. Alpha footage can be viewed on my Steam profile: Vinolik .SWE.

Hope you liked this update!

Post 2 – General info

This time, I will share some general info about the new site. First off, there will be two websites. One will be for reviews only and one for the rest. I had to do this as there won’t be enough room for so many pages on one website. Vinolik’s Reviews will feature reviews and Vinoliks Gaming Website will have the rest.

Now, I wanted to write more about the mods/downloads part of the site. The “Recommended mods” page will feature links to other good mod-sites. I will recommend mods that I have used and tested. Additionally, there will also be this page called “Projects/Concepts” where I show up my concepts for new content, whether its site- or game related. Of course you can download all my content from my site directly or indirectly (via Mediafire).

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more info! The website is opening soon I promise 😀

New post series – New intel on reviews

I’m now starting with a new series of posts, giving you intel on how my new website will be. You can expect previews, surprises and much more! I really hope your’e gonna like the website when it opens!

In this Issue nr.1 I’m gonna talk about reviews. I will do reviews on most of my games and most of the DLC/expansion packs. As I’m not a great writer, I will start off with quite short reviews. But I hope I will develop in english writing and become better!
Hardware will also be reviewed. At the moment, this includes mouse, keyboard, speakers and one computer case.

The reviews will be written like this:
Text explaining what the product is. After that, more in-depth on what I think about different things etc. It will end with a conclusion/summary and a score from 0 to 5. Additionally, the review ends with a “pros” and “cons” list (optional).

Games rated as 3 (Good) will receive the “Good game-Good buy” badge. If a game is rated as 5 (Masterpiece), it will receive the “Masterpiece-Must buy” badge.

Stay tuned for more info soon!

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 11,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Here’s a special peek from Producer Megan Myers talking about the Tiny Prodigies Early Learning Center, available a part of the Gold Edition of The Sims 3 Aurora Skies. The Gold Edition will be available on The Sims 3 Store on February 21, 2013

Hi, Simmers!  If you love playing toddlers and children like I do (they’re just so cute!!!), you are really going to love the Tiny Prodigies Early Learning Center!  This venue is absolutely beautiful, and just looking at it makes me think that this might be my very favorite venue ever.  (Though, of course, the fact that everything is geared towards children certainly helps!)

As soon as you look at the Tiny Prodigies Early Learning Center, you can tell that it’s going to be a very stimulating environment.  There’s just so much going on!  Here’s the view from the front:
